In 2018 Arlington's founder left his full-time job as a creative professional with nothing but an inkling of an idea, one so outlandish, at first he didn't share it with anyone.

The Dream? To reimagine the motorcycle as a compact, sleek machine, built for modern urban lifestyles.

Next, a very rough prototype came to life. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enough to start gathering feedback, iterating, and improving.

Slowly, the vision gained traction, the team grew, not in the traditional way of raising from venture capital funds then going on a hiring spree, but organically. One by one, Arlington’s ranks expanded: an award-winning industrial designer here, a robotics engineer there, even the founder’s old boss joined the gang.

With a larger product team in place, Arlington went back to the drawing board. The bike was completely remade from the ground up, refining the manufacturing process and commercializing the product.

Today, Arlington motorcycles are fabricated right here in New Zealand and sold directly or through our display partners:
